Railings and Gates
All our railings and Juliette balconies are made to building regulations unless otherwise requested. We use high quality steel, wrought iron and cast iron. We would automatically make the railings and Juliette balconies to a 100mm spacings required by building regulations unless otherwise required. All our workmanship is of the highest quality and is always finished off in red oxide primer, or powder coated or finished in good quality oil based paint if requested.
We can do a supply only all made up to be fitted by others option, as some clients do have builders already on site so my clients instruct their builders to install or we can do the whole project.
The railing heads shown on our photographs and on the Railing Head page is a very small selection that I produce.

TLC01 Design – Obelisk designed railing heads with 20mm diameter square bar railings with design TLC053 finial head.
TLC02 Design – Edwardian style railing head and wrought iron circle designed security gate with 16mm solid bars, also with 5 lever lock and dog bars at bottom half of gate.
TLC03 Design – Contemporary hooped railings with 12mm round bar, useful for barriers, smoking areas for clubs and public houses or your
garden, around swimming pools and patio, excellent for new style buildings and modern homes. Ideal for front garden also.
TLC04 Design – Original Victorian blade TLC188 railing head railings with 20mm round bars and also with dog bar railings on front gate. All gates can be made to match railings.
TLC05 Design – Contemporary circle railings designed with 12mm square bars with flat top bar, can also be made with curved handrail on top which would give a sturdier look to the railings. Excellent with a matching garden gate.
TLC06 Design – Double gates with Victorian fleur de leis railing heads, this particular photo shows a steel plate privacy screen.
TLC07 Design – Scrolled wrought iron railings. We have many different scrolls to choose from our pattern book in our showroom.
TLC08 Design – Double gates with 16mm round bars also with wrought iron circles with 100mm square gate posts with ball caps.
We have many different diameters of wrought iron circles; we also make circles with a fish tail finish which would give the gates and railings a certain Victorian look.
TLC09 Design – Single gate with 16mm square bars with metal circles with latch, keep and gate posts.
TLC010 Design – Railings with extra height using 16mm round bars and obelisk style railing heads also extra large obelisk matching railing head finial to give the railings extra depth and style.
TLC011 Design – Plain railings with plain 16mm round bars oversailing top flat bar with Victorian style large finials.
TLC012 Design – Plain railings using 12mm round bars, convex curved handrail with 50mm ball caps on thicker diameter main standards.
TLC013 Design – Victorian style railings using obelisk style railing heads with 20mm square bars, also wrought iron panelling giving the railings an authentic Victorian look, with wiggly dog bars at lower level.
TLC014 Design – Wrought iron Juliette balcony balustrading using Victorian scrolled panels with 176mm wiggly and straight wrought iron bars.

TLC016 Design – Cast iron frieze fitted to walls, window cills and copings which deter people from sitting on walls, especially if property is near a bus stop. Also give property a certain Victorian style.
TLC017 – Juliette balcony railings in contemporary plain design using 16mm round bar and convex curved handrail.
TLC018 – Cast iron Victorian balustrade railings using TLC489 balustrading with large fleur de leis TLC136 railing head, 20mm twisted rope bars and middle star medallion design.
TLC019 Design – cast iron Victorian balustrade railings using TLC 489 baluster and TLC136 railing heads. This style of railing can be made from any design baluster and any design railing head.
TLC020 Design – Railings made from 16mm wiggly bars and 16mm plain bars with chamfered pointed railing heads and scrolled steel railing/gate top panel.
TLC021 Design – Victorian chamfered railing heads using 20mm square bars with ornate Victorian panel also with dog bars at lower level.
TLC022 – Steel handrail with curved convex top with 20mm square railing uprights with hand made backstays on each railing upright with also scrolls on each end of handrail. Handrails can be made to any design either contemporary like this handrail or fancier using ornate balustrading.
TLC023 Design – Juliette balcony railings with 1 ornate wrought iron panel in front and on the two returns of the railings, also with 12mm round plain bars.
TLC024 Design – Obelisk designed railing heads with 16mm square bars, ideally suited to Edwardian and newer style properties, gives your property a classical look.
TLC025 Design – Cast iron balustrading using design TLC489 baluster with D section curved handrail, also with Victorian newel post at bottom of stairs.
TLC026 Design – Spiral staircase landing using Victorian ornate balustrading with middle motif removed to give a contemporary look to the spiral staircase, also with Victorian filigree flooring to landing.
TLC027 Design – Spiral staircase with Victorian ornate baluster with middle motif removed.
TLC028 Design – Combination Victorian staircase with 700mm wide straight treads and spiral staircase treads at beginning of staircase at the bottom. This design staircase is perfect for properties with a limited space. The staircase has Victorian Tulip balustrading.
TLC029 Design – Combination Victorian staircase with 1m wide straight treads and spiral staircase treads with a contemporary touch using plain balustrading on the treads.
