This beautiful Oak stairs has a straight tread at the bottom and a 90mm diameter centre column. It has plain Aluminium balusters powder coated black leading to a drop landing plate, one step below the finished floor. A drop landing is often used when there is restrictive headroom and the smaller column is ideal on the smaller diameter stairs. This "Burke" style staircase with solid riser and aluminium balusters gives a comtempary feel. The handrail at the bottom of the spiral returns to the ground without a newel post.
